Abstract

This paper presents a full-wave model of the propagation along interconnects consisting of ideal conducting thin wires. It consists of two coupled differential-integral equations of the first kind with singular kernels and is solved applying the collocation method on staggered meshes. The solutions put on evidence high frequency effects due to spatial dispersion and radiation losses.
