The study endeavors to illuminate the distinctions in time perception and management between mainstream perspectives and those of individuals with disabilities. Drawing upon an autobiographical narrative from one of the authors, who faced an arduous wait for a kidney transplant, this paper utilizes an auto-narrative methodology to delve into the complexities of time perception and recognition within the context of disabilities. By referencing the concept of “Crip Time”, the paper explores how the passage of time assumes distinctive meanings for individuals constrained by a disabling illness, as they navigate existence, striving to uphold dignity, hope, and quality of life. The research aims to establish the foundation for further exploration of how the perspectives of individuals with disabilities can significantly contribute to enhancing organizational culture, promoting inclusivity through the acknowledgment and appreciation of differences.
